Question: Ask The Nuwaupians, What Is A Cult?
Answer: Like clockwork they'll say, a cult is a culture.
"For far too many years we have looked for our savior, some call him the Mahdi and others the black Messiah, we know him as the Lamb Rabboni Y'shua Bar El Haady; Khazown Yashua, Revelation 21:9...we judge him by his works, for we have seen him at work for over 20 years. He is hated, he has been imprisoned, scorn, reviled and slandered, yet he still stands strong. We have seen him give and give and get nothing in return. He has helped many human beings only for them to be Judas Escariot and turn on him for his love. We have seen him heal the sick with one touch of his hand. He has told us everything that is happening now in the world, before it happened. He told us we were Nubians, and he started the nose ring. He explains so clearly each holy scripture in Aramic which is Hebrew and Syriac which is Arabic, with him we know all things so clearly YES he is here in human form right now, don't miss him, come sup with him, he is the key to all locked doors, he is the answer, yes Peace In The Lamb It's Truly Wonderful."

The above quote was inspired by York's claims of being divine, a God and savior to Nuwaupians. This is the sort of commentary from a religious cult leader to the followers, is designed to keep them in a state of adoration and blind loyalty and faith to the cult leader and the organization, for example, York says;
"I am your savior. Come follow me. The hour glass is almost empty! The time of reaping is near! We are the 144,000! I am your Warner and to every people the Neteru has sent a Warner."
-Malachi York: The Degree Of Christ-ism pg. 816
"I will follow the Lamb in true faith; OUR Savior, the man of the times, Dr. Malachi Z. York, forerunner of the real Messiah."
-The Marriage Ceremony pg. 11
"Ques. Who are you to us? Ans. Your true Savior."
-Malachi York: The Sacred Records of Atum-Re
Malachi York literally told the Nuwaupians that he created a [religious] cult, but after hearing, watching and reading him say it, they to this day still cling to the word cult, and to them it exclusively means, "culture".
The word cult has three definitions. First of all, it can simply be a group that loves something. When people refer to an "Elvis cult" or "The O.C. cult," they mean really devoted fans.
The second definition is that of a religion whose beliefs differ from the majority around them. In the Roman Empire, Christians were sometimes considered a cult because they worshiped Jesus rather than the Roman gods.
The third, and most commonly used definition, refers to a religious group that is:
1) Exclusive. They may say, "We're the only ones with the truth; everyone else is wrong; and if you leave our group your salvation is in danger."
2) Secretive. Certain teachings are not available to outsiders or they're presented only to certain members, sometimes after taking vows of confidentiality.
3) Authoritarian. A human leader expects total loyalty and unquestioned obedience.
There are several definitions of the word cult, however in the sense and context that York used the term, he was speaking of the socially accepted religiously disparaging terminology.
Example:
York regarded the Orthodox (Sunni) Islam as a religious cult and didn't want his cult to be associated with them;
"overstand, we didn't want to be associated with any form of Islamic CULT or sect..."
-Malachi York: Degree Of Muhammad-ism pg. 4
York didn't use the opional term "culture", no, he used the modern term in it's proper context. Nuwaupians who're aware of York's statements, or that there were additional definitions of the word, hold on to culture when it's not implied, not properly applied by Nuwaupians. Below is the Nuwaupians cult's leader, Malachi York.
York and his quasi-religious cult received the label "cult" while York lived in Brooklyn, and was regarded as "The Ansar Cult" by rival Muslims.
As a result of the Ansaar Cult book and the unwanted attention it brought to York, he would later relocate to Monticello New York, then to Eatonton, Georgia with the Nuwaupians. After feeling secure that they were blended into the south, York and the cult removed thier Country and Western Cowboy/Plains Native American costumes in favor of wearing a combination of West African, Pakistani, Catholic, and Jewish garbs, along with the attire change, so did York change his name.
York would increase his cult-like status when he openly declared to be a man from another planet, a world he called "Rizq", a planet in a 19th galaxy he referred to as, "Illywun", a term he borrowed from his Islamic years.
"I am from the 19th galaxy Illyuwn, far outside this one...I come from the planet RIZQ by way of Nibiru, you call it Jannat. Our solar system is within the 19th galxy on this side of the first warp called the black hole...the planet that I come from each being lives to be 1000 years old..."
-Malachi York: The Holy Tablets pg. 1640-1641
"I hope that this point is very clear for what I am next to say, and that is, Illyuwn is a place. And according to the Qur'aan, 'a book of the righteous is kept in that place Illyin.' That means that Illyuwn is a material place, a physical place, a place where a book can rest on something. A place where people can read or beings can read from the book. And Allah must be there along with other beings RIZQIYIAN or RIZQIYUWN, as Al Razaaq the residing Rizqiyian...this place is Illyuwn, which I put before those of you who want right knowledge, Illyuwn is where those righteous records are kept, and where the Rizqiyians exist."
-Malachi York: Extraterrestrials And Creation pg. 101-102
The following is from a lecture York gave shortly after leaving Islam where he tells his followers just what he did, justifying the label, CULT.
"...so how would I create a CULT that would isolates itself from everybody, the Sunni's would leave us alone, the Nation of Islam would leave us alone, the Christians would leave us alone, and the Israelite and Hebrews would leave us alone, I said well the first thing is the symbol needs to be different...take a six-pointed star and crescent and a ankh, that'll work, call em the Nubian Islamic Hebrews, that'll work...the scene was set, as I went through these different stages, I changed my name every two years to keep the attention off me..."

Below is the link where you can hear York telling the Nuwaupians that he created the cult.

One would have to be suffering from an advanced case of cognitive dissonance to read and hear York explain that he created a cult, which was a religious cult, and deny that he meant "culture". When Nuwaupians do that, it's a clear indication that they know he said it and they have no defense against it so they'll run with "culture" ignoring what the cult leader himself said that he did.
