Question: Ask The Nuwaupians: Is the Face of "ANU" in the Holy Tablets Really Based on a Sumerian Depiction?
Answer: They'll be completely clueless.

Now I want to demonstrate how his leftover followers are relying heavily on microwave scholarship.
The Negro cartoon illustration of York's ANU was first published in the "Holy Tablets" back in 1995, thanks to the artwork of Nikki Lopez, one of York's abused victims (The holy tablets is the holy bible of Nuwaupians, a pseudo-divine scripture of York) loaded with false and misleading stories, along with a massive amount of plagiarized duplications.

The image some Nuwaupian shared on social media back in 2020 of "ANU", had NO traceable origins, meaning, they offer the onlooker no primary source for verification. Nevertheless, what is clear, is it's craftsmanship of Europeans, in the European area known as Urartu (Armenia).

It's NOT a representation of Anu at all, but that of 𒀭𒅆𒄿𒌑𒄿𒉌 d-si-iu2-i-ni "Shivini", a solar deity of Utartu (9th century BC). There were three main gods to them in their pantheon;
Khaldi (creation deity), Teisheba (thunder and war deity, and Shivini (sun deity).
The artwork of Uratu was strongly influenced by nearby Assyria, from the 13th to the 6th centuries BC in Armenia, which accounts for the image looking similar to deities in the old Assyrian and Neo-Assyrian periods; and NOT of Sumerian iconography. This false Anu artifact can seen, and verified at the Badisches Landes Museum in Karisruhe, Germany, a very European artifact.

The image above was taken inside the Badisches Landes Museum, and is the forehead part of a horse's head gear, dated to c. 800 BC. Urartu is a geographical region commonly used as the exonym for the Iron Age kingdom also known by the modern rendition of its endonym, the Kingdom of Van, centered around Lake Van in the historic Armenian Highlands (present-day eastern Anatolia).now how Nuwaupians can claim this to be Anu is beyond the ability to utilize logic and basic research methodology. The artwork of the cartoon of the Nuwaupian's "Anu" was done by one of York's abused victims: Nikki Lopez, as were nearly a hundred other pieces. Below are but an example of her amazing artistic abilities York exploited.

The artifact of Urartu was strongly influenced by old Assyrian as well as Neo-Assyrian. It's from the 13th to the 6th centuries BC in Armenia, not Sumer. Therefore any claims of it being the actual face of Anu is a joke. And for the record; 𒀭/AN/ is Sumerian, /Anu/ is from the Akkadian language, which is Semitic, unlike Sumerian. Although the Akkadians used the cuneiform writing system, the phonology was quite different.
AN/Anu belongs to the oldest generation of Mesopotamian deities, and was originally the supreme deity of the Babylonian panthon. Consequently, his major roles are as an authority figure, decision-maker and progenitor. In heaven or the skys, he allots functions to other deities, and can increase their status at will; in the Sumerian poem Inana and Ebih (ETCSL 1.3.2.) Inana claims that "AN has made me terrifying throughout heaven" (166). On Earth he confers kingship, and his decisions are regarded as unalterable.
Later AN/Anu came to share or cede these functions, as Enlil and subsequently Marduk rose to prominence, but retained his essential character and high status throughout Mesopotamian history. Indeen, when other gods are elevated to a position of leavership, they are to recieve the anutu, the "Anu-power". For example, in the Enuma Elish TT the gods express Marduk's authority over them by declaring: "your word is Anu!"
(tablet IV, lines 4-6)
The word /Anu/ as stated earlier, is it self an Akkadian word not Sumerian. As a Semitic word, it gave birth to other terms for a deity in other Semitic languages; /Ilu/ is a term for deity as well.
Comparison with other Semitic languages:
Proto-Semitic: *ʾil "deity" Arabic: ulūhat أُلُوهَة Syriac: ʾalāhā ܐܰܠܳܗܳܐ Hebrew:ʾel Ugaritic: ỉl. These are basic linguistic facts, unfortunatly York never taught his followers this.
The overall point here is this, the images are wrong, the image to the left is not that of Anu period. The Nuwaupian person that posted these images; I don't necessarily blame completely. He or She are just a follower(s); York is the one ultimately responsible for this. He raised a large body of clueless microwave pseudo-scholars. Poorly trained, unskilled, with no sense of proper methodology. These wanna-be's will share this sort of nonsense, not realizing that in their ignorance, they're confirming the widely accepted view that Malachi York's followers, sympathizers, and students, are living examples of idiots, following a career conman who passed himself off as an educator from the "19th galaxy"?
"...I am one of the teachers of the 19th galaxy..."
-Malachi York: Holy Tablets Chapter 19 Tablet 6:17
And you wonder why they're perceived as so dumb.
