Question: Ask The Nuwaupians, Is HUHI The Name Of An Ancient Egyptian God Read Backwards As Dr. York Claimed?
Answer: Malachi York took misinformation from Gerald Massey and created even more misinformation and taught it to Nuwaupian cult members

Dr. York is notorious for crafting poor, false and misleading information, geared primaraly to his cult members. This is yet another example of that deception. In the Facebook discussion group "The Nuwaupian Debate Forum", questions arouse regarding the name HUHI, a name that some York followers are now calling themselves.
"...Wth is a huhi???...Yahweh is huhi spelled backwards... Its Yahweh name without the y or something like that lol..."
The following is what York taught and wrote about Huhi.
Ques: How is the name YHWH pronounced today?
Ans: The letters YHWH is being read backwards and substitutes vowels to hide the mystery that it is the Egiptian supreme being HUHI 'the force of creative will' , which became in Semetic languages HU for 'he' as in male factor and HE as in female factor, the letters are right there. IHUH, the Y in Semetic languages is replaced by an 'I' and 'U' in Semetic languages is replaced by 'W' or 'V' , so the name distorted becomes YAHWEH, JAHVEH, JEHOVAH, YAHUWAH, YHWH.

-Best Kept Secrets, Chapter 1 No. 1.
This is nothing more than the usual York plagirisim. He took an old 1907 book by Gerald Massey who claimed that an Egyptian word Huhi was brought to the attention of Israelites by the On Egyptian priest forming the tetragram (Jehovah).
"The one god in Israel is made known to Moses by the two names of Ihuh and Iah. Now a priest of On (Osariph) would naturally learn at On of the one god Atum-Ra, who was Huhi the eternal in the character of God the father of Iu in the character of God the son, which were one. In accordance with Egyptian thought, that which was for ever was the only true reality. This was represented by Huhi the eternal. And Huhi is the god made known to Israel by the priest of On. Gesenius derives the name of Ihuh from a root huh, which root does not exist in Hebrew. But it exist in Egyptian. Huh or heh signifies ever, everlastingness, eternity, the eternal. Huhi was a title that was applied to Ptah, Atum-Ra, and Osiris, as Neb-Huhi the everlasting lord...Thus the one god as their Huhi was not only he who is for ever as the father, but also he who comes for ever as the son...Thus the name of an eternal, self existing being which in Hebrew can be traced as Huhi, the name of the one eternal, ever-living, ever-living, ever-lasting god as Egyptian... All that was ever represented to the Jewish mind by the name of Ihuh (Ihvh or Jehovah) had been expressed to the Egyptian by the word huhi or, later, hehi."

Massey's theological speculation isn't followed by any Sesh Medew Netcher (written Egyptian language) YWHW is being read BACKWARDS and substitutes vowels to hide the mystery that it is the Egiptian supreme being HUHI. The sad joke on Nuwaupians is, York took the English letters in the Tetagram and reveresed them to read (HWHY) which is pseudo-scholarship.

There's absolutely nothing in Sesh Medew Netcher supporting Massey & York's claims. The Huhi that Massey was writing about is /nHH/ "time", then there's another hieroglyph for "eternity" which is /Dt/. The closest to "Huhi" that York was writing about is /Hw/ but that represents "annunciation".
Naturally neither Massey or York provided any linguistic signs from sesh medew netcher (Egyptian language) to support their theories. In one of the newer publications that Nuwaupians have attributed to York, they continue to use deception like York.
Demonstration Beats Conversation: Typically, as you can see, Nuwaupians will add the letter they need to make it fit their false narrative as you see in the illustration above. Here's the facts, "Eternity" is commonly transliterated /nHH/ as the evidence shows below.
In the book by African scholar and linguist Professor Theophile Obenga, African Philosophy: The Pharaonic Period 2780 -330 BC, on page 129 he states the following.
The Nuwaupian claims here related to the Hebrew deity Yahweh as being Huhi and the likes, was stolen by York from Gerald Massey's book "Ancient Egypt - The Light of the World" chapter 8 of vol 1 pages 497 - 498. This was addressed and refuted long ago. If you read those pages you can see the influence.

Massey was NOT a linguist and many of his conclusions are incorrect and he often omits any citations to primary sources. In those cases, the readers are expected to take Massey's word for it like they do York's. This is a new day and era, now we have scholars, students, and the likes who know the language and have access to primary sources.
/nHH/ "eternity" and /Hw/ "authoritative utterance" are deities, and are NOT the same. There is no /w/ in /nHH/ which is often shortened to /HH/, thus debunking the Nuwaupian claim.
In the tomb of Tomb of Ramses III: 20th Dynasty in (KV 11) we see the 3 deities Nepret, Renunet, and Hu. The 3rd figure from the right with the signs in front is /Hw/ "Hu" . This is clear as day, yet York, who claimed to have translated the "Egyptian book of the dead", curiously missed Hu right in the text.

Hu can also be seen in the Book of Am-Tuat, from right to left: Upuaut, Sia, Hathor (as Mistress of the Ship), Re in his shrine, Har, Tehuti, Seth, Hu, and a steersman.

Again, there's absolutely nothing in sesh mdwnTr supporting Massey nor York's claims as indicated above.
